Camera Operator/Videographer – Sports (Lacrosse) Live Streaming

Budget: $50+/hr

Prodigy Media is a professional video production company specializing in live sports broadcasts. We are seeking to hire five (5) local camera operators to join our broadcast team for our coverage of the 2026 National Championship Tournaments for the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) and Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Organization (WCLO) which are taking place the week of May 3rd

• 9th 2026 at the River City Sportplex facility near Richmond, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile collegiate championship event, covering 44 live games over the course of the week. Broadcasts will range from single-camera productions to full multi-camera (up to 6 cameras) setups.

Role & Responsibilities • Operate broadcast cameras for live coverage of college lacrosse games • Follow director and producer cues during live productions • Capture game action, replays, and crowd/atmosphere shots as assigned • Maintain consistent framing, focus, and exposure throughout games

Qualifications • Experience filming sports and lacrosse in particular is a strong plus • Comfortable working in both single-camera and multi-camera environments as well as being elevated on scissor lifts (approx. 30’). • Reliable, punctual, and willing & able to follow producer instructions to the best of their ability. • Must be semi-local to the Richmond, VA area (or able to work as a local hire)

Equipment • No equipment required. All cameras and production gear will be provided by Prodigy Media.

Compensation • Competitive day/hourly compensation rate is based on experience (Please include your desired hourly rate when applying, if applicable.)
