The finance team needs a polished suite of SSRS reports built directly on our SQL Server environment so management can review real-time numbers without wrestling with spreadsheets.

The scope centres on financial reporting; three core statements must be delivered:

Each report should pull from existing SQL tables and views, use parameter-driven filtering (date ranges, entities, departments), and render cleanly in both the SSRS web portal and exported PDF/Excel formats. Solid T-SQL is required for efficient datasets, and the.rdl files have to be structured for easy maintenance in Visual Studio / Report Builder.

Deliverables • Optimised queries or stored procedures powering the reports • Three production-ready.rdl files with branding, drill-down where relevant, and subtotal / grand-total logic • Deployment script or step-by-step notes so the DBA can move everything from dev to production without guesswork

Acceptance criteria

1. All totals reconcile with source data to the cent.
2. Report execution time stays under five seconds for the last five fiscal years.
3. No hard-coded paths, credentials, or filters—everything must be configurable through parameters or shared data sources.
