Guam Procurement & Sourcing Coordinator

Deadline: 2026-04-03

Description

Budget: $250 - $750

I’m looking for a dependable professional already living on Guam who can move fast whenever our U.S. government contracts—particularly the DZSP 21 projects—need materials. Day to day you will be the bridge between our office and the island’s suppliers, making sure we never slow down waiting for parts.

Supplier coordination is the core of this role. You will visit hardware, electrical, plumbing and construction outlets, verify stock in person, collect multiple quotations the same day and lock in the best option. Quality of the sourced materials matters above everything else, so I’ll count on you to check specifications, lot numbers and condition before approving any purchase.

Once an item is cleared you’ll raise the local purchase order, arrange same-day or next-day delivery to the designated warehouse or job site, and update me on order status until the receipt is signed. Clear, prompt communication—photos of stock, copies of quotes, delivery confirmations—will help us keep an auditable trail for our government partners.

Deliverables for every request • Quote sheet with at least two local offers, part numbers and lead times • Confirmation that chosen items meet the spec and quality standard • Delivery note or signed bill of lading uploaded within 24 hours of drop-off • Weekly summary of open orders, ETAs and any supply risks

If you already have solid relationships with Guam vendors and enjoy the challenge of “find it today, deliver it tomorrow,” let’s talk.
