Rehang Misaligned Timber Door

My solid timber front door has dropped so far that daylight shows around two edges and the deadbolt is fighting the mis-alignment every time I lock up. The surrounding frame itself is still in good condition, so the job centres on removing the door, squaring it up, and hanging it again so it closes cleanly and seals out draughts.

The door carries a deadbolt that must end up perfectly aligned with its strike plate after the refit. I am open to keeping the current hinges or swapping them out for new heavy-duty ones if that proves the more reliable route; I’ll follow your professional recommendation once you have assessed their state.

Please supply all tools and fixings needed, carry out any planing or packing required, and finish by testing that the door swings freely, latches effortlessly and is airtight around the perimeter. A neat site and no paint damage to the door or frame will form part of acceptance.
