Price Tracker- Amazon and Flipkart

Budget: ₹600 - ₹1500

I need a small desktop tool in Python that, at the press of a button, pulls the current prices of specific laptop models from both Amazon India and Flipkart and drops the results straight into a neatly formatted Excel sheet. I will supply the list of SKUs—both model numbers and part numbers—so the script simply needs to loop through that list, visit the two sites, capture the best live price (and ideally the product link), then write everything in separate columns.

The application must run from a simple, intuitive desktop window. I am happy with either Tkinter or PyQt for the interface as long as the result looks clean and can be bundled as a single executable for non-technical users. Behind the scenes, Selenium or another reliable scraper plus pandas/openpyxl will probably do the heavy lifting, but I am flexible if you have a better stack.

Core flow I have in mind • Launch the app → browse to my Excel or CSV list of part numbers → click “Fetch Prices”. • Progress bar or status area shows which SKU is being processed. • When finished, the same workbook (or a fresh one) is updated with Amazon Price, Flipkart Price, and timestamp.

Deliverables

1. Source code with clear comments.
2. Stand-alone desktop executable (Windows 10+).
3. Brief read-me explaining any setup steps (e.g., ChromeDriver placement).

Acceptance will be based on accuracy of the scraped prices for a sample test sheet and the smoothness of the one-click workflow.
