New-Hire Plant Training Presentations
Description
A series of concise, visually rich slide decks is needed to onboard new employees to three core areas of our operation: power plant systems, refinery process flow, and the fundamentals of pumps and valves maintenance. Each deck should combine process diagrams, real-world photos, and simplified P&IDs so a newcomer with minimal industrial background can follow the logic from inlet to outlet and understand the safety checkpoints along the way.
The work centers on presentations only (PowerPoint or Google Slides). Speaker notes under every slide must give the facilitator enough context to teach without referring to an external manual. Wherever possible, embed animations or short GIF sequences to show moving parts—especially within turbine sections, heat exchangers, and centrifugal pump assemblies.
Deliverables • Three standalone slide decks, one per topic, 25–35 slides each • High-resolution visuals, labeled schematics, and a brief glossary slide in every deck • Consistent template and color code for safety, flow direction, and equipment status • Editable source files plus a PDF export of each finished deck
Acceptance criteria
- Content accuracy aligned with industry standards (ASME, API where relevant).
- Jargon limited; every technical term defined on first use.
- Speaker notes cover learning objective, key talking points, and a check-for-understanding question for every major section.
PowerPoint, Google Slides, and basic graphic tools (Visio, Illustrator) are all acceptable as long as the final presentations remain fully editable. A short sample slide on any of the topics will help confirm visual style before full development.
