Body Armor CAD & 3D Model
Description
I need a clean, production-ready CAD package for a pair of curved body-armor plates I am fabricating.
2D DRAWING
- Please create the flat-pattern in AutoCAD and dimension every critical edge, radius, hole, and bend line. Tolerances can sit beside each dimension; I’ll adjust if something looks off. Once finished, export the file as DXF so my laser shop can read it immediately.
3D MODEL FOR BENDING
- From that same geometry, generate a simple 3D sheet-metal part that shows the final bent shape. I mainly need this to verify fit and confirm bend angles with the brake press operator, so keep the file lightweight—no textures or assemblies required. STEP file for 3D model
DELIVERABLES • Flat-pattern DXF with detailed dimensions • Editable 3D sheet-metal model of the formed plate • A quick screenshot or PDF for reference during review
ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA The DXF must open flawlessly in AutoCAD 2022, all dimensions must match the supplied sketch (I’ll send it after award), and the 3D model must unfold back to the same flat length shown in the 2D file.
