E-Commerce Sales Dashboard | Turning Data into Business Insights

I have an E-Commerce Sales Analytics Dashboard that already surfaces revenue, AOV, cancellation rate, product performance, and state-wise sales contributions. It visualises ₹1.25 bn in tracked revenue and pinpoints losses from order cancellations. Now I want to push the analysis further and make the insights immediately actionable.

The current build covers all product lines, yet my next release should zero-in on the Electronics category and present its trends exclusively through line charts. Alongside this category focus, I’m keen to tighten the storytelling of each key metric, refine the visual hierarchy, and polish the overall look so that stakeholders can grasp performance at a glance.

Here’s what I need from you:

• Re-work existing visuals to use line charts wherever sales trends are displayed, maintaining consistent colour and scale. • Build an Electronics-only drill-down that mirrors the structure of the main dashboard (revenue, AOV, cancellations, top products, monthly trend). • Optimise data cleaning steps so refreshes remain fast and error-free. • Deliver the refreshed dashboard file plus a short walkthrough (screen recording with voice-over) highlighting the new Electronics view and any workflow changes.

The project is built with standard data-analytics tooling—SQL for extraction, followed by a desktop BI tool for modelling and visualisation—so comfort with data cleaning, DAX/MDX-style calculations, and slick dashboard design is essential.

Successful delivery means no broken links in the data model, accurate metric calculations that match the original totals, and visuals that load smoothly in the published version.
