Elegant Author Website Creation

I’m looking to have a small, classic-and-elegant author website built that acts as my online home while seamlessly guiding visitors to my company site and my Substack newsletter. The tone should feel timeless—think clean typography, tasteful white space and a restrained colour palette that lets my books and biography take centre stage.

Core content The site only needs three main sections: a concise biography, an up-to-date listing of my books (with jacket images, blurbs and purchase links) and a contact page that includes a simple form plus social links. Prominent buttons should carry readers over to the company site and open my Substack in a new tab, keeping navigation effortless.

Technical expectations • Fully responsive so it reads beautifully on phones, tablets and desktops • Built on a platform I can update myself afterward—WordPress, Squarespace or a similarly intuitive CMS is fine; I’m open to your suggestion • Fast-loading pages, basic on-page SEO and an SSL certificate in place • Google Analytics (or equivalent) connected for traffic insights
