Beginner Funk Bass Lessons

(Please don't bid if you can't easily provide multiple online videos of you playing bass and/or teaching bass. I need a teacher - nothing else. Thanks!)

I’m a mid-late bass beginner and can play a few simple-ish songs (e.g., Can't Hide Love, Diamond Girl, Leave the Door Open, Can't Touch This, James Brown stuff). Know major and minor chords. Prefer R&B and funk from the 70s-80s, but open. My goal is to learn proper fingering technique, slap-and-pop lines (not the priority), and develop a strong rhythmic feel that locks with the drums. I'm a lefty and don't plan to change that.

Seeking U.S.based musicians (possibly open to an onsite visit every once in a while. Your place/studio or my Georgia location, whichever is best.).

Goal is to build a small collection of songs and stop flying fingers. Grow to solid Intermediate level within six months aggressively. Play in a band. Learn modes.

All lessons must be delivered live over online video calls so we can review posture, finger placement, and tone in real time. I’m open to whichever platform you prefer (Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, etc.) as long as screen-sharing and high-quality audio are possible.
