Furniture Photo Background Cleanup

I have a batch of roughly 100-200 raw shots of furniture pieces that must be sales-ready. Each image needs the existing background removed and replaced with a pure white (#FFFFFF) backdrop, followed by balanced color correction and light retouching to remove dust, scratches, or minor imperfections so every item looks clean, true-to-life, and consistent across the set.

Source files are DSLR JPGs captured in natural light; some shadows are uneven and wood tones vary slightly from shot to shot, so a keen eye for maintaining realistic texture while standardising colour is essential. Please keep the furniture’s natural contours and subtle shadows intact—no harsh clipping or haloing.

Deliverables • 100-200 finished images supplied as 3000-px-wide JPGs (sRGB, 300 dpi) on pure white • Layered PSD or PNG files with transparent background for each image

Acceptance criteria • Smooth, artifact-free edges when zoomed to 200 % • White background reads #FFFFFF on a colour picker • Colour temperature matches the original product; no unnatural tinting • All dust, scratches, and lens spots removed without over-smoothing texture
