Custom Smart Shopping Form with Auto Price Extraction + Stripe/PayPal Integration (Magento 2)

Project Overview

We are looking to build a custom smart order form integrated into a Magento 2 website that allows customers to submit product links from external marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, etc.), automatically extract pricing and product details, calculate totals, and proceed to payment via Stripe and PayPal.

This system will act as a "Buy For Me" / Personal Shopper service.

Core Features & Requirements

1. Smart Product Input Form Customer can add multiple product rows Each row includes: Product URL (Amazon, eBay, or other marketplaces) Quantity field (editable) Auto-filled product data: Product name Unit price Product image (optional but preferred) Weight (if available)

2. Automatic Data Extraction (Very Important)

When user pastes a product URL:

System should automatically: Fetch product price Detect currency Extract product title (Optional) Extract weight or estimate it

Must support at least:

Amazon eBay Bonus: support other marketplaces

Note:

Developer must decide best approach: API (if available) Scraping (with proxy handling if needed) Third-party service (like RapidAPI)

1. Price Calculation Engine

For each item:

Unit Price × Quantity = Line Total

For full order:

Subtotal (all items)

10% Service Fee

Shipping Cost (based on weight & destination) = Final Total

1. Shipping Calculation Customer selects destination country System calculates shipping based on: Total weight Predefined shipping rules or API (Aramex, DHL, etc.)

2. Live Total Updates All calculations must update in real-time (AJAX / JS) User should clearly see: Subtotal Service Fee (10%) Shipping Cost Final Total

3. Payment Integration

After calculation:

Customer clicks Proceed to Payment

System should:

Create payment session with: Stripe Checkout PayPal

Requirements:

Dynamic amount (based on calculation) Secure backend validation (no trusting frontend totals)

1. Magento 2 Integration Form should be: Embedded inside Magento 2 (custom module or page) Orders should: Be stored in Magento (optional but preferred) Or saved in custom database
