Create Employee Cybersecurity Policies

I’m looking for someone who can take the lead on drafting clear, actionable cybersecurity policies that my employees will actually read and follow. The immediate focus is data protection—how we collect it, who may access it, where it’s stored, and how it’s disposed of.

You’ll translate best-practice frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, or similar) into concise, plain-language guidelines, then structure them so they slot neatly into our existing handbook. I’d also like the wording to accommodate future add-ons such as access-control or network-security sections, so a modular approach makes sense.

What I expect from you • A complete, employee-friendly policy document covering every phase of data protection in our environment • Version-controlled source files (Word or Markdown) plus a clean PDF ready for immediate distribution • A brief change log explaining your decisions and any recommended next steps

Acceptance criteria • Tone stays instructional yet approachable—jargon explained or avoided • Policy aligns with at least one recognised standard and cites the clauses used • Document passes an automated readability score of Grade 10 or lower
