Interactive Tutorial Video Editing
Description
These videos are part of an ongoing educational series aimed at keeping viewers actively involved from start to finish. Each raw clip runs between 5–8 minutes and will be trimmed, polished, and energised into an engaging, interactive tutorial.
What the finished edit should feel like • Pacing that keeps attention high without sacrificing clarity of instruction • Friendly, conversational tone supported by light-hearted transitions • Clear on-screen text overlays that highlight key steps, shortcuts, or tips • Simple 2D animations or motion graphics that illustrate concepts, reinforce explanations, and create smooth scene changes
Workflow
- I’ll supply the raw footage, brand colours, fonts, and any existing graphic assets.
- You cut, clean up audio, balance colour, and build the narrative.
- Add text overlays and custom animations at the moments noted in a shared time-coded script.
- Return a first draft (MP4 + project file). I’ll review and give consolidated notes.
- Apply revisions and deliver the final 1080p video, plus a version with separate audio tracks for future tweaks.
Acceptance criteria • All requested text overlays and animations are present, correctly timed, and stylistically consistent with provided brand guidelines. • Final video exports smoothly at 30 fps, H.264 codec, 10 Mbps or higher. • Total runtime falls within 4–6 minutes after editing. • No noticeable jump cuts, audio pops, or colour mismatches.
Preferred tools are Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, though alternatives (DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut) are fine as long as project files or high-quality editables accompany the final render.
