I need an Android-only mobile application focused on social-networking functionality. The core experience should let users create personal profiles, follow one another, post text, images or short videos, like and comment in real time, and receive push notifications when new interactions happen. A clean, modern UI that feels familiar to regular social-media users is important, but I also want the codebase to be solid so future feature upgrades come easily.

My preference is native development in Kotlin (Java is fine if you strongly prefer), with Firebase or another scalable BaaS handling authentication, real-time data sync and cloud storage.
