English Book Typesetting Layout

I’m looking for a meticulous typesetter to lay out an entire book in English. The manuscript is ready in Word; what I need now is a clean, publication-quality interior that reads well both in print and as a PDF.

Your task XXXX XXXX from setting up the master pages and styles, to flowing the text, placing headings, footnotes, and page numbers, and ensuring consistent typography throughout. Tables, images, and chapter openers must sit exactly where they belong without crowding the page or breaking flow.

While this project is for an English-language book, experience working with multilingual scripts—especially Sinhala—will be appreciated because I may have similar projects in the pipeline.

Deliverables • Print-ready PDF with bleeds and crop marks • Editable source file (InDesign preferred, but Scribus or Affinity Publisher are fine if you explain your workflow) • A brief style sheet summarising fonts, sizes, leading, and colour specs
