Hi, I’m looking for an experienced Unreal Engine developer/technical artist to help me build a real-time singing character for Unreal Engine 5.6.1.
The goal is to recreate a rockstar-style performer that can sing songs using Audio2Face for lip-sync, with full-body presence and natural idle movement.
I already have assets that I want to use to speed up production and reduce cost: • Character bundle: https://www.fab.com/listings/01d37372-9e83-4855-9822-a8edca139bd8 • Animation pack: https://www.reallusion.com/ContentStore/iClone/pack/3D-Animation-MD-Rock-Singer/default.html • Animations are already exported and working in Unreal Engine (FBX format)
Scope of work:
- Adapt the character to a more “rockstar-style” look (if needed)
- Set up a full-body rig compatible with Unreal Engine
- Implement a facial rig compatible with Audio2Face (lip-sync ready)
- Retarget and integrate the provided animations
- Add basic idle movement suitable for a live performance character
- Ensure everything works correctly inside Unreal Engine
Final use case: • The character will be displayed on a vertical (portrait) TV • It will be used in a karaoke-style application • It should perform songs with synchronized lip movement and natural presence
