About Global Fashion Agenda (fond) Global Fashion Agenda is a non-profit organisation that fosters collaboration across the fashion industry to drive urgent action on sustainability. With a team of around 30 people, GFA convenes stakeholders from around the globe through its landmark event, the Global Fashion Summit. First launched in Copenhagen during COP15, the Summit now takes place in Copenhagen, Singapore, and Boston, solidifying its role as the nexus for industry transformation and agenda-setting discussions.

The position As E-commerce Specialist, you will be tasked with developing a comprehensive ticket sales strategy tailored to the Global Fashion Summit. You will bring a sharp analytical mindset and the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable recommendations on pricing, positioning, and audience engagement.

Working closely with colleagues across Events & Operations, Communications, and Partnership & Development teams, you will ensure that the ticketing strategy aligns with audience needs, market benchmarks, and event objectives. Your work will help position GFA’s flagship event competitively in a crowded marketplace while enhancing the customer journey and driving measurable growth in ticket sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the marketing plan for ticket sales in collaboration with the Communications team
  • Map and optimise the customer journey (CX) for the ticketing process
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish measurable KPIs for ticketing performance
  • Push for cross-team alignment, ensuring delivery against timelines and goals

Your profile

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, ticketing, or event sales strategy
  • Proven skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation, with an analytical and structured approach
  • Experience within the event sector and familiarity with audience demographics and industry benchmarks
  • Strategic mindset, able to challenge assumptions and provide actionable, evidence-based recommendations
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working across departments and influencing stakeholders
  • Curious, commercially driven, and able to balance detail with the bigger picture
  • Strong written and spoken English (Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement)

Practicalities

  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Duration: Approx. 2 months
  • Contract type: Full-time freelance contract, monthly-based compensation
  • Location: Copenhagen based office, with option for hybrid setup
