What You'll Do
You'll be a key member of our Sales team, bridging the gap between what our customers need and what our platform can do. Specifically, you will:
- Partner with Sales to assess the technical feasibility of customer requirements and contribute to a clearly defined scope within the Statement of Work before a deal closes.
- Lead pre-sale discovery sessions to understand prospects' existing workflows, challenges, and objectives then translate those findings into well-defined solution proposals.
- Design and present solutions that demonstrate clear, compelling value using the Administrate platform, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and platform capabilities.
- Build business cases and technical documentation that help prospects make confident decisions.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Engineering teams to validate proposed solutions and ensure a smooth post-sale handover.
- Act as a trusted technical resource for the Sales team, helping identify the right solution for each customer's unique situation.
- Stay on top of product capabilities and new launches so you're always giving accurate, best-in-class guidance throughout the sales cycle.
What You'll Need
- Demonstrated experience in a Solutions Consulting, Pre-Sales, or Technical Sales role, within an LMS environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. You find root causes before reaching for solutions.
- Solid understanding of technical architectures, security requirements, and systems thinking.
- Hands-on experience working with REST and/or GraphQL API integrations.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and a working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Proven ability to lead technical discovery sessions and translate findings into actionable solution designs and scoping documentation.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable engaging with prospects and customers remotely and, when required, in person.
- Education or training in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or equivalent) is preferred, though equivalent practical experience is very much welcomed.
