Salary: £75,000-95,000 Location: UK Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
**As a Principal Consultant at Amplifi, you’ll be a leader within our consulting team, combining deep subject-matter expertise with a strong sense of ownership for delivery. You’ll lead complex client engagements across Data Strategy, Data Governance, and emerging areas such as AI and Analytics, setting direction, shaping solutions, and ensuring work is delivered to a high standard.
You’ll play an active role in developing our people by coaching and mentoring consultants, supporting pre-sales activity, and helping to guide how our services evolve. As a visible and trusted leader, you’ll help set the tone for how we work with clients and with each other, contributing to Amplifi’s continued growth and reputation.**

THE ROLE:

WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO:
Project Delivery & Expertise
- Lead delivery phases including requirements, design, implementation.
- Act as the primary client liaison ensuring clarity of scope and outcomes.
- Provide expert assurance and guide project teams.
- Deliver strategies, governance frameworks, capability assessments, and solution designs.
Advisory & Pre‑Sales
- Support pre‑sales processes, demos, and shaping of solutions.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise during proposal development.
Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and new technologies.
- Contribute to blogs, webinars, internal assets, and knowledge‑sharing.
- Identify opportunities for new methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
- Mentor consultants and senior consultants.
- Lead delivery teams and delegate effectively.
Internal Operations & Service Line Development
- Contribute to improvements across Amplifi methodologies and service lines.
- Support internal initiatives, training, and process optimisation.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Proven experience delivering Data Strategy, Data Governance, or related engagements.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to simplify complexity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead teams and act as a trusted advisor.
- Experience shaping proposals and engagement models.
- Desirable: Certifications in data, governance, cloud, or AI.
