Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 Location: UK Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
**As a Consulting Director at Amplifi, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we work with our clients and how our teams grow. You’ll lead the delivery of meaningful, high-quality consulting across Data Strategy, Data Governance, and areas such as AI and Analytics, working closely with clients to solve real problems and deliver lasting value.
You’ll be a visible leader for our consulting teams by supporting, mentoring and creating the space for people to do their best work. Alongside the VP of Service Excellence and VP of Service Development, you’ll help evolve our services, share ideas, and strengthen Amplifi’s reputation as a data consultancy people trust and enjoy working with.**

THE ROLE:
As a Consulting Director at Amplifi, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we work with our clients and how our teams grow. You’ll lead the delivery of meaningful, high-quality consulting across Data Strategy, Data Governance, and areas such as AI and Analytics, working closely with clients to solve real problems and deliver lasting value.

WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO:
Client & Delivery Leadership
- You will lead complex consulting engagements across Data Strategy, Governance, AI, and Analytics.
- Oversee delivery quality, ensuring alignment with agreed outcomes and client expectations.
- Act as the senior escalation point for strategic customer engagements.
- Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams across the project lifecycle.
Advisory & Pre‑Sales Support
- Support pre‑sales with expertise, solution shaping, and proposal development.
- Contribute to RFP/RFI responses with authoritative input on Amplifi Core Services.
- Lead executive‑level conversations demonstrating Amplifi’s value.
Internal Capability Building
- Develop and refine methodologies, accelerators, and best practices across service lines.
- Coach and mentor consultants and principal consultants.
- Drive cross‑functional initiatives that improve consistency and efficiency.
Market Engagement & Thought Leadership
- Represent Amplifi at events, forums, and thought‑leadership initiatives.
- Stay ahead of market developments across data, AI, and analytics.
- Identify and validate opportunities for enhanced and emerging service offerings.
THE ROLE WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF:
- You have extensive experience leading data‑focused consulting engagements.
- You’re recognised as a trusted advisor with strong strategic and commercial acumen.
- You excel at coaching and developing teams.
- You have strong experience in Data Strategy/Governance,
- Ideally with knowledge in broader areas such as AI/Analytics.
- You’re passionate about service evolution, quality, and innovation
- Experience in both delivery and pre-sales activity is desirable.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
- Proven leadership across multi‑disciplinary consulting projects.
- Deep understanding of data disciplines (Data Strategy, Governance, MDM, Analytics, AI).
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience deg solutions and engagement approaches.
- Experience in pre‑sales and commercial engagement.
- Thought leadership experience desirable (writing, speaking, community involvement).
