About the position
Well ID is seeking an experienced software engineer with high agency. You should have experience working in an environment of rapid development where the end goal is sometimes only vaguely defined. You should be comfortable with taking on tasks you do not have the required skills or knowledge to implement immediately, and to quickly teach yourself how to do them.
We are not seeking a person to work through jira tickets or close issues on github. We are not in need of a specialist, neither front-end nor back-end. Our software team is small, and everyone is expected to be involved in all parts of the software stack.
Requirements:
Essential:5 years’ professional experience working as a software engineer (or equivalent)Proven experience working on R&D projectsHigh agency and independenceStrong background in PythonExperience with system architecture designFluent in English, both written and oralLive in the Stavanger area
