Digital Design Engineer
- Bluetooth IP
We are looking for a talented and motivated Digital Design Engineer to join an advanced Bluetooth IP development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design of cutting-edge Bluetooth solutions that enable next-generation wireless connectivity platforms.
You will play a key role in defining, implementing, and validating robust digital system solutions, ensuring performance, quality, and reliability targets are met. This position requires strong technical expertise, a high level of autonomy, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Take end-to-end ownership of design and verification for advanced Bluetooth / IEEE 802.15.4 MAC, PHY, and platform solutions
Implement and integrate digital designs on FPGA alongside existing RF platforms for prototyping and validation
Collaborate closely with architecture, system, algorithms, hardware, software, validation, and customer support teams
Support validation activities during product certification and assist application teams when needed
Plan, track, and communicate progress effectively, providing visibility into milestones and risks
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership and guidance
Produce high-quality documentation, including micro-architecture specifications, interface definitions, and module-level test plans
Drive continuous improvement by contributing to enhancements in processes, tools, and technologies
Required Qualifications
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field
8+ years of hands-on experience in digital design
Strong expertise in Verilog / SystemVerilog
Deep understanding of the complete digital design flow, including:
Micro-architecture
RTL development
Testbench creation
Code coverage
Synthesis
Verification and co-simulation
Proven experience deg and integrating complex sub-systems
Solid experience with FPGA implementation
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience with project planning and progress tracking
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of wireless communication protocols, such as:
Bluetooth
IEEE 802.15.4
Wi-Fi (802.11)
UWB
Cellular (3GPP)- Experience with complex SoC architectures and system integration
