Major Duties and Responsibilities : Oversees verification of client identity and assesses the creditworthiness of their businesses. Chairs the Branch Credit Committee (BCC) and actively participates in the evaluation, approval, or rejection of loan applications in accordance with delegated authority. Oversees savings deposits and withdrawals to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Coordinates efforts related to growth areas and forecasts loan disbursement projections. Drive sales growth by developing strategies, setting targets, and motivating staff. Maintain excellent customer relationships, address concerns, and enhance customer satisfaction. Plans personnel capacity, selecting new staff, undertakes fair & equitable HC/HR and evaluating existing staff in accordance with management decisions Ensures that the branch staff maintain very high morale, identifies capacity building needs and ensures adequate and updated training is provided; Undertakes annual performance appraisals and staff development plans. Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability while ensuring financial objectives are met. Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and company standards. Manage branch assets, inventory, and supplies efficiently. Analyze local market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities. Prepare and present reports on branch performance to senior management. Handle operational and employee issues effectively to maintain branch stability. Perform additional duties as assigned by the district and headquarters. Planning & Integration Develop the branch's business plan and annual work plan, including projected targets and required resources, and submit them for approval to the Senior Management Team (SMT). Review and adjust plans as necessary to respond to changing circumstances, operational needs, or strategic priorities. Marketing Promote the branch’s loan, savings, and other financial services to existing & prospective clients to support business growth and client engagement. Plan and implement targeted promotional initiatives within the branch’s designated market area to increase visibility, attract new clients, and strengthen the institution’s market presence.
