We design and deploy risk decisioning systems, intelligent financial infrastructure, and market linkage platforms that unlock credit, insurance, payments, and capital access for MSMEs and smallholder farmers. We build the AI, data, and financial infrastructure that helps financial institutions serve hard-to-finance segments at scale. Business Unit Description The Chief Shariah Financial Solutions Office (CSFSO) is responsible for deg, governing, and scaling Kifiya’s Shari’ah-compliant financial infrastructure and ecosystem platforms. The Office develops digitally enabled Islamic financial solutions that allow partner financial institutions, marketplaces, and ecosystem actors to deploy Shariah compliant, asset-backed, and ethically structured financing at scale. Leveraging Kifiya’s AI technology platforms, the Office structures and commercializes Shari’ah-compliant financial products and market solutions across areas such as SME and supply-chain finance, asset and device financing, embedded finance, marketplace ecosystems, and emerging Takaful and Islamic capital market instruments. The Office also institutionalizes the governance frameworks, financial structuring capabilities, and market infrastructure required to support the sustainable growth of Islamic finance within Kifiya’s ecosystem. By integrating Shari’ah governance, aligning with international standards such as AAOIFI and IFSB, and enabling ecosystem-wide deployment, the Office advances inclusive financial access and scalable Shari’ah-compliant financing solutions for SMEs, agricultural value chains, women and youth enterprises, and digital marketplace participants. Position Summary The Manager, Growth & Market Enablement is responsible for driving adoption, commercial activation, and scalable market expansion of Shari’ah-compliant financial solutions across Halal Gebeya and partner ecosystems. The role serves as the demand engine of the ecosystem, ensuring that financial products, Takaful solutions, and capital structures are actively utilized across MSMEs, agricultural value chains, cooperatives, and institutional partners. The Manager translates platform capabilities into transaction volume, revenue growth, and market penetration through structured acquisition strategies, institutional activation, and embedded finance deployment. Key Responsibilities Growth Strategy and Commercial Planning • Develop and execute a multi-year growth strategy for Shari’ah-compliant financing and Takaful solutions. • Define priority customer and ecosystem segments including: o MSMEs and merchants o Agricultural cooperatives and smallholder farmers o Ethical finance and underserved segments o Institutional Islamic banking windows • Align growth plans with capital deployment strategy, product pipelines, and platform capacity. • Set quarterly and annual targets aligned with revenue, disbursement, and adoption KPIs. User Acquisition and Channel Expansion • Design and scale acquisition strategies across: o Digital channels and campaigns o Agent and field networks o Cooperative and association-based channels o Institutional partner referrals o Embedded finance integrations • Drive onboarding growth across MSMEs, farmers, cooperatives, and individual users. • Optimize acquisition funnels, conversion rates, and onboarding efficiency. • Improve customer lifetime value while reducing cost of acquisition. Institutional Activation and Commercial Rollout • Partner with Institutional Partnership Managers to activate signed institutions into live production. • Support product pilots, phased rollouts, and go-to-market execution. • Ensure commercial activation of: o Islamic financing products o Takaful bundles o Embedded finance solutions o Asset and agricultural financing programs • Monitor partner-level performance and ensure revenue realization. Market Education and Ecosystem Enablement • Lead financial literacy and awareness initiatives focused on Shari’ah-compliant finance. • Develop market-facing educational content explaining: o Risk-sharing principles o Profit rate mechanisms o Asset-backed financing structures o Takaful protection models • Support institutional partner training and onboarding programs. • Strengthen market trust, credibility, and understanding of Islamic finance offerings. Embedded Finance and Value Chain Expansion Identify and prioritize high-impact value chains for embedded Shari’ah finance. Design bundled solutions integrating financing and Takaful within: Agricultural supply chains Asset and device distribution networks Marketplace transactions Cooperative ecosystems Drive deep penetration of financial services into real economic flows. Performance Management and Commercial Optimization Track and manage key growth and commercial KPIs including: User acquisition and activation Financing disbursement volumes Takaful attachment rates Active institutional partners Revenue generation and yield performance Market penetration rates Develop dashboards and performance reports for leadership visibility. Use analytics to refine segmentation, pricing positioning, and distribution strategies. Cross-Functional Execution Alignment Coordinate closely with: Manager, Marketplace Platform Manager, Product Development & Planning Manager, Takaful Solutions Manager, Islamic Capital Market & Investment Solutions Institutional Partnership Managers Risk, Analytics, and Technology teams Ensure synchronized execution across product, platform, capital, and distribution layers. Regulatory Awareness and Market Intelligence Monitor regulatory developments affecting Islamic finance and digital platforms. Identify emerging opportunities across Ethiopian and regional markets. Benchmark growth strategies against leading Islamic fintech and ecosystem models. Recommend expansion strategies into new segments and geographies.
