Job Summary The Fleet Transport Supervisor supervises and coordinates deployment of company trucks and fleet operations. The position ensures timely transportation of goods, monitors fleet movement, communicates with drivers and branch managers, tracks freight locations, controls vehicle compliance, and prepares operational reports. The position is also responsible for following up all company registered vehicles requiring maintenance by coordinating repair processes with sister company BNT workshop, monitoring repair progress until completion, verifying maintenance quality, and ensuring timely return of vehicles for operation. The role ensures transport efficiency, vehicle safety, maintenance readiness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Detailed Duties and Responsibilities Supervises and coordinates deployment of company trucks and fleet.  Follows up daily whereabouts of freight and compiles movement data.  Communicates with drivers and branch managers and records vehicle movement at regular intervals.  Deals daily with drivers to obtain information on operational problems and delivery timeliness.  Reports daily fleet positions on all routes to the immediate supervisor.  Receives and updates freight location and estimated arrival information.  Follows up transportation requests where vehicles are not yet arranged and informs supervisor.  Reads fleet movement plans and arranges vehicle sub-contracting in consultation with supervisor.  Oversees transportation of finished goods and raw materials between farms, washing stations, plants, warehouses, and distribution centers.  Ensures all company registered vehicles are assigned properly and used efficiently.  Coordinates movement schedules for all vehicles.  Supervises daily fleet transport operations.  Assigns vehicles and drivers according to transport plans.  Recommends subcontracted transport when necessary.  Plans efficient routes and delivery schedules through Journey Management Plan (JMP).  Collects and verifies delivery orders before dispatching drivers.  Follows up maintenance needs of all company registered vehicles.  Coordinates maintenance requests with sister company BNT workshop.  Transfers vehicles for maintenance based on approved repair requests.  Follows repair progress until maintenance is fully completed.  Ensures repaired vehicles are returned on time for operation.  Monitors maintenance duration and reports delays.  Records maintenance history for each vehicle.  Follows up spare parts requirements and maintenance costs.  Verifies maintenance quality before vehicle release.  Reports repeated breakdowns and technical problems.  Coordinates maintenance schedules to minimize operational interruption.  Reports maintenance status regularly to Logistics Department /Chief Operation Manager.  Ensures all maintenance documents are properly filed.  Follows up accident repair cases with insurance and relevant bodies.  Follows up annual inspection certificates, insurance, and regulatory requirements of all vehicles.  Ensures all vehicle documents remain valid and updated.  Monitors legal compliance, insurance, annual inspection, GPS tracking, and route control for all registered vehicles.  Ensures company compliance with government transport regulations.  Ensures all vehicles remain roadworthy and safe.  Takes preventive measures for vehicle and driver safety.  Ensures all vehicles are properly registered and inspected regularly.  Conducts track and trace of vehicles through GPS tracking system.  Reports defects, accidents, and violations to insurance and concerned bodies.  Monitors compliance and reports operational risks.  Reports fleet expenses and performance regularly to immediate supervisor.  Monitors fuel purchases through fuel card administration to regulate costs.  Supervises documentation of work/rest periods, kilometers covered, fuel receipts, and toll records.  Implements driver fatigue management procedures.  Monitors current transportation trends to improve planning and forecasting.  Coordinates defensive driving training for all company drivers.  Ensures all fleet members have valid licenses and updated training.  Works jointly with relevant departments to ensure vehicle readiness and driver discipline.  Performs other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
