Position Summary The Finance Head serves as a vital member of the senior management team, responsible for the strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of the company’s financial health. This role goes beyond traditional accounting; it requires a proactive professional who can navigate the complexities of the manufacturing sector, from meticulous production cost analysis to high-level financial forecasting. The Finance Head is tasked with ensuring full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local tax regulations while optimizing the use of financial software like Peachtree. By providing data-driven insights and rigorous budget management, the successful candidate will play a decisive role in guiding the factory's investment decisions and ensuring long-term fiscal stability in a competitive market. Key Duties and Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Planning Oversee comprehensive financial planning and strategy to ensure long-term business sustainability. Prepare, monitor, and manage annual company budgets and departmental forecasts. Conduct detailed cost analysis and variance reporting to optimize production efficiency. Daily Operational Management Supervise daily financial operations, including production costs, sales revenue, and expenditure tracking. Manage the invoicing process and oversee supply chain financial transactions. Maintain and optimize accounting software systems (Peachtree) to ensure data integrity. Reporting & Analysis Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive review. Provide high-level financial analysis and data-driven insights to guide business development. Ensure management has access to accurate, real-time information for critical decision-making. Compliance & Internal Control Ensure full compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and local tax laws. Manage legal and regulatory financial requirements to mitigate company risk. Coordinate with internal and external auditors as necessary.
