Senior Auto Mechanic

The Senior Auto Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both vehicles and heavy machinery such as excavators and loaders. As well as supervising junior mechanics to ensure high-quality and timely service. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to handle complex mechanical issues. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine problems in vehicles and Machineries Perform advanced repairs (engine overhaul, transmission, suspension, braking systems) Conduct routine maintenance (oil changes, inspections, servicing) Supervise and guide junior mechanics and technicians Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Use diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently Maintain service records and repair reports Coordinate with parts department for required spare parts Test vehicles after repair to ensure proper functioning Minimize downtime and improve workshop efficiency
