Job Description A Women’s Cancer Care House (WCC) in Hawassa provides accommodation, meals, and supportive care for vulnerable women undergoing cancer treatment. The Female Health Officer / Senior Nurse will serve as the overall supervisor of the WCC house, overseeing daily operations, ensuring patient safety, supervising staff, managing data systems, and coordinating with health authorities. She will ensure high-quality patient care, including hygiene, nutrition, and emotional support, while also handling reporting, operational improvements, and community engagement to strengthen the program’s impact. Key Responsibilities: Supervise nurses and support staff in daily operations Ensure quality patient care, safety, and infection prevention standards Monitor patient health and facilitate referrals when needed Provide patient education and emotional support Manage data systems and prepare regular reports Coordinate with health bureaus, hospitals, and stakeholders Improve service quality and oversee operational planning Support visibility and resource mobilization efforts
