JOB Summary: The Quality Control Head is responsible for managing and overseeing all quality control activities within the metal manufacturing factory. The role ensures that all fabricated metal products (such as steel structures, metal components, and assemblies) meet required specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements The position focuses on implementing and maintaining ISO-compliant quality management systems, monitoring production processes (cutting, welding, machining, and finishing), and ensuring consistent product quality. The role plays a key part in minimizing defects, reducing rework, and improving overall production efficiency. Key responsibilities: · Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures aligned with metal manufacturing standards and ISO requirements. · Ensure all raw materials (steel, metals, and components) meet required specifications before production. · Monitor production processes including cutting, welding, fabrication, machining, and finishing. · Conduct inspections and testing of materials and finished products (dimensional checks, weld quality, surface finish, etc.). · Ensure compliance with industry standards for welding and fabrication quality. · Perform regular quality audits and inspections across all production stages. · Identify defects and deviations, and lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). · Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve product quality and reduce waste. · Ensure proper calibration and use of measuring and testing equipment. · Maintain accurate documentation for inspections, audits, and ISO compliance. · Lead and supervise QC inspectors and technicians on the factory floor. · Monitor performance against quality targets and deadlines.
