Job Summary:  The Junior System Engineer is responsible for providing technical support across all business units within the organization. This role focuses on troubleshooting IT-related issues, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring that IT services function effectively across diverse business areas, including property management, construction and IT infrastructure, transportation, logistics, and functional areas such as HR, procurement, marketing, finance, and IT. The ideal candidate will be proactive, technically skilled, and able to provide high-quality IT support to users across the company. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide timely and effective support to end-users across departments for issues related to hardware (computers, printers, mobile devices) and software (operating systems, business applications, productivity tools). Resolve support tickets efficiently, ensuring that issues are logged, tracked, and resolved according to service level agreements (SLAs). Perform on-site troubleshooting and support for hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to higher-level IT staff when necessary. Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and network devices (routers, switches, etc.). Ensure that  IT  systems and software applications are properly configured, maintained, and optimized for use across different departments. Assist in maintaining the organization's network infrastructure and ensure all users have secure and reliable access to internal systems and cloud services. Provide training and assistance to employees on the proper use of hardware, software, and IT systems. Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees to introduce them to IT systems, tools, and security protocols. Create and update user documentation and instructional materials for common IT-related issues. Provide support for business-specific applications used across the organization, including those related to property management, construction management, transportation, logistics, and finance. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues with ERP systems, HR software, procurement systems, and other internal tools. Monitor IT systems for security vulnerabilities and assist in implementing patches, antivirus updates, and other security measures. Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls for secure IT system usage. Support IT team in the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Assist in projects related to the implementation of new hardware, software, and business-specific systems across departments. Track and maintain records of IT assets (e.g., computers, printers, mobile devices) and software licenses. Coordinate with vendors for procurement and support as needed. Work closely with HR, marketing, procurement, finance, and other departments to support their IT needs and ensure IT systems align with business goals. Communicate with vendors and contractors to manage support contracts and service agreements. Working Conditions: Full-time, standard office hours. Occasional overtime may be required to resolve urgent issues or during system upgrades. Some travel may be required for on-site support across various business locations.
