Job Title: Assistant Finance Manager  Reports To: Finance Manager  Company Overview:  Anbessa Travel is one of the leading tour operators, car rental, and travel management companies with over 13 years of experience in the industry. We are expanding our travel management and event services and looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our team.  Key Responsibilities  1. Financial Reporting  ★ Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements  ★ Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting  ★ Monitor financial performance and highlight variances  2. Budgeting & Cost Control  ★ Support budget preparation and forecasting processes  ★ Monitor expenses against approved budgets  ★ Analyze variances and recommend corrective actions  3. Tax & Compliance  ★ Ensure compliance with tax regulations (VAT, WHT, payroll taxes)  ★ Assist in preparation and submission of tax reports  ★ Support internal and external audits  4. Cash Flow Management  ★ Monitor cash flow and maintain adequate liquidity  ★ Review bank reconciliations and financial transactions  ★ Support payment processing and approval workflows  5. Internal Controls  ★ Implement and monitor internal financial controls  ★ Ensure proper documentation and audit trails  ★ Identify and recommend process improvements  6. Team Support & Supervision  ★ Supervise finance staff and review their work  ★ Provide guidance and training where needed  ★ Ensure timely completion of daily finance activities  7. Financial Analysis  ★ Prepare financial reports and analysis for management  ★ Support decision-making with accurate financial insights
