Mine Planning and Operations Support Manager

Job Purpose The Mine Planning and Operations Support Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting key operational functions at site, including Mine planning, material planning, procurement coordination and warehouse operations.  Key Responsibilities Mine Planning Prepare short-term, medium-term, and long-term mine plans. Plan production targets based on the ore body and equipment capacity. Use geological and survey data to design mine plans. Use mine planning software such as Datamine Studio, GEOVIA Surpac, Micromine, or other mine design programs. Develop weekly, monthly, and yearly production schedules. Ensure mine plans follow safety standards and regulations. Work closely with geologists, surveyors, engineers, and mine supervisors. Material Planning & Coordination Coordinate with site departments to identify and forecast material requirements. Ensure timely submission of purchase requests to the procurement department. Monitor material availability and consumption to support operational continuity. Procurement Coordination Liaise with the head office procurement team to follow up on purchase requests and delivery schedules. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of required materials and equipment to the site. Verify that received materials meet specifications and operational needs.
