JOB Summary: The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory and stock within the factory or warehouse. The role ensures that goods are accurately received, stored, and issued in a timely and organized manner while maintaining an efficient and tidy store. The position focuses on inventory control, proper record-keeping, and supporting production and procurement teams by ensuring materials and supplies are available when needed. Key responsibilities: · Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and goods in accordance with company procedures. ·  Maintain accurate inventory records, update stock ledgers, and perform regular stock counts. ·  Issue materials and goods to production or other departments as requested. · Ensure the store is organized, clean, and safe at all times. · Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or excesses. · Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing goods against purchase orders and delivery notes. · Maintain proper documentation of all stock transactions and reconciliations. · Support periodic inventory audits and assist in reporting discrepancies. · Implement and maintain store management best practices, including labeling, shelving, and storage methods. · Collaborate with procurement, production, and finance teams to streamline material flow and reduce delays.
