Production Assistant & Junior Videographer

Visionary Media & Communication Group | Post-Production Department Visionary is a Media & Communication Group that is going through expansion from a film production company to create industry leading 360 Media & Communication Group. Visionary is working to become strategic engine for African storytelling. As the company scales up infrastructure to lead the regional creative economy, we are seeking a high-caliber Office Operations & Communications Coordinator to serve as our brand's professional Face and operational communication anchor. THE ROLE This is a high-performance, hybrid role designed for an individual who is "obsessively organized" and technically gifted. You will serve as the backbone of our Production Unit, ensuring Production Readiness by managing high-value assets and executing cinematic cinematography under the mentorship of our Production Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Asset Stewardship: Act as the guardian of the Visionary Inventory. You will be responsible for the cleaning, calibration, and rigorous check-in/out tracking of all cameras, lenses, and lighting rigs. Technical Videography: Operate high-end cinema and mirrorless cameras for studio and location shoots, manage behind-the-Scenes (BTS) capture and secondary camera angles (B-Roll). Production Logistics: Support the Production Manager in scheduling, site surveys, and location prep. Act as the primary coordinator for set-breakdown to ensure a "zero-damage" environment. Cinematic Lighting & Audio: Assist in executing 3-point lighting setups and basic field audio configurations to meet the standard.
