The company participates in bids/tenders to provide governmental and non-governmental organizations with various equipment such as industrial machineries, ICT infrastructure products, construction machineries, electromechanical machineries and office technology products.  We are looking for a highly analytical, technically strong, and detail-oriented Bid Specialist (Engineering and Electromechanical) who can prepare competitive and technically compliant bids for construction heavy machinery, vehicles, and industrial electromechanical equipment. The ideal candidate must have strong technical evaluation capability and the ability to translate specifications into accurate, competitive, and high-quality proposals. Position Summary The Bid Specialist (Engineering and Electromechanical ) is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and submitting technical and financial proposals related to construction heavy machineries, vehicles, and industrial electromechanical equipment. The role focuses on specification review, supplier sourcing, cost estimation, compliance verification, and preparation of complete bid documentation. The specialist works under the guidance of the Head of Tender Unit and plays a critical role in ensuring technical accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance of submissions. The bid specialist will also support other bid specialists for submission of various bids.  Key Responsibilities  Review tender documents and identify technical requirements for heavy construction machineries and electromechanical equipment. Conduct detailed technical compliance analysis against specifications. Prepare bid/no-bid technical evaluation notes for the Head of Tender Unit. Identify risks and gaps in technical requirements and propose solutions. Source qualified international and local suppliers (in coordination with Head of tender unit) for heavy equipment and industrial machines. Request and evaluate technical datasheets, brochures, certifications, and compliance documents. Compare equipment specifications with tender requirements to ensure full compliance. Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns including equipment price, logistics, duties, installation (if required), and warranty considerations. Coordinate with head of tender unit/Managing director for pricing validation and margin analysis. Assist in developing competitive pricing strategies. Prepare technical proposals including compliance sheets and specification comparison tables. Draft equipment descriptions and statements (where required). Compile required documentation such as catalogues, authorization letters, and certifications. Ensure all administrative, technical, and financial components are complete before submission. Support the Head of Tender Unit in final review and submission. Maintain organized digital and physical records of supplier quotations and past bids. Update tender tracking sheets related to engineering and electromechanical bids. Contribute to monthly performance reports (submitted, won, lost). Document lessons learned from unsuccessful bids for improvement. Support bid preparation for ICT infrastructure and other various bids.  Post Bid Award  Support smooth handover of awarded projects to the Fulfilment Unit. Provide technical clarification during contract negotiation if required. Assist in resolving technical queries during project execution.
