Description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of all Komari warehouses, ensuring that stock levels are maintained at approximately one week's supply and that operations are conducted efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong leader with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of warehouse management. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities  Stock Level Management: Monitor inventory levels across all warehouses to ensure a consistent supply of approximately one week's stock, adjusting as needed based on sales forecasts and trends. Coordinate with the supply chain department to ensure timely restocking and efficient order fulfillment. Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, deliveries, and dispatches. Warehouse Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of all warehouses, ensuring procedures are followed for receiving, warehousing, and shipping. Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient space utilization and optimal operational flow within the warehouses. Develop and enforce safety standards in compliance with legal regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Team Management: Lead, manage, and train warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors and operatives, ensuring a high level of competence and adherence to operational guidelines. Conduct performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement, providing coaching and development opportunities as needed. Quality Control: Ensure that goods stored in the warehouses are preserved in the best possible conditions and that handling procedures minimize losses and damages. Implement quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of stock and the accuracy of inventory records. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the budget for warehouse operations, including staffing, equipment, and maintenance costs. Monitor expenditure and implement cost-saving measures without compromising operational efficiency or safety.
