Location/Duty Station: Benishangul-Gumuz Region, Asosa Zone, Kurmuk Woreda

  • Project Site Roster: Fly-In/Fly-Out (6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off) Employment Type: Full-Time | Site-Based KGM is searching for an Intelligence and Investigation Officer with significant focus on safeguarding personnel, assets, and operational continuity. The primary purpose of this role is to identify, investigate, and mitigate risks—such as theft, asset misappropriation, sabotage, and security breaches—through proactive intelligence gathering and reactive investigations, who’s duties will include but are not limited to the following: Surveillance Management:  Monitoring CCTV, thermal cameras, and drones to detect suspicious movements or people in high-risk, remote areas of the open pit. Intelligence Gathering:  Utilizing technology and human intelligence to identify internal and external threats. Evidence Handling:  Securing scenes of crime, gathering evidence, and maintaining the chain of custody for investigations. Data Analysis:  Using AI-powered video management systems to identify irregular patterns, such as unusual vehicular movements or unauthorized personnel in restricted zones. Reporting:  Preparing comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly security intelligence reports for senior management.
