Account Manager
Description
Job Purpose The Account Manager is responsible for managing financial records, supporting export transactions, ensuring accurate accounting practices, and maintaining compliance with Ethiopian laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities Financial Management Maintain accurate financial records and reports Manage general ledger, journals, and trial balance Monitor cash flow and bank transactions Export & Trade Accounting Handle accounting for export sales Prepare export invoices and related documents Coordinate LC, TT, and foreign currency transactions Follow up on export proceeds Tax & Compliance Prepare and submit VAT, withholding, and payroll taxes Ensure compliance with ERCA regulations Support audits and maintain proper documentation Budgeting & Reporting Assist in budget preparation and forecasting Monitor budget utilization and report variances Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports Coordination & Support Work with production, procurement, HR, and sales teams Support payroll and benefits accounting Liaise with banks, auditors, and government offices Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Finance Manager / General Manager Company: Nirvana Food Processing PLC Location: Bahir Dar / Addis Abeba
