Procurement Manager  Salary:                  Negotiable but attractive Work place:            Head office Registration:           Up to April 08,2026 (Megabit 30,2018) Location:                Head Office, Addis Ababa, Bole Brass, Reality Plaza 6th floor, Near        to You-go church  Job details:  Is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the procurement functions of the company to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods, materials, equipment and services.  The position ensures that all procurement activities alight with the company’s strategic goals, meet project requirements and ethical standards. The role also involves leading supplier relationship management, contract negotiations and procurement process improvements to enhance efficiency and support the company’s business objectives.  Detailed Duties and Responsibilities  Strategic Procurement Management Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. Align procurement operations with the company’s strategic goals in real estate development, construction, manufacturing, export, and other business areas.  Prepare annual procurement plans in coordination with departments and projects.  Prepare project procurement plan in coordination with project  Procurement Operations Oversight  Manage the end-to-end procurement process including tendering, bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract administration. Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment and services for all projects and          business units.  Prepare bid documents Prepare purchase orders.  Monitor procurement activities to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objective are met. Meet monthly and annual procurement plan  Negotiate with suppliers to obtain favorable terms, pricing, and quality assurance.  Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers. Monitor supplier performance and manage contract to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.  On time delivery of purchased item  Risk Management  Mitigate procurement risks through strong internal controls. Ensure accurate documentation and audit trails of all procurement transactions.  Lead and supervise procurement officers and support staff within the division.  Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to strengthen the procurement team’s capacity.  Coordinate with internal departments (finance, supply chain, projects, production, etc.) to address procurement needs.  Submit Procurement Documents on time to finance and other departments provide periodic reports on procurement progress and challenges
