Superintendent High Security Areas

Location/Duty Station: Benishangul-Gumuz Region, Asosa Zone, Kurmuk Woreda

• Project Site Roster: Fly-In/Fly-Out (6 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off) Employment Type: Full-Time | Site-Based ABOUT THE ROLE  KGM is searching for a Superintendent High Security Areas (HSA) with significant experience in protecting critical infrastructure, high-value assets, and personnel. This position involves directing security operations, enforcing compliance, managing risks, and coordinating with emergency response teams in, for example, explosive magazines, gold plant, and gold product loading areas, who’s duties will include but are not limited to the following: Security Surveillance:  Monitor and analyze security operations, including CCTV, electronic checkpoints, and biometric scanners to detect potential threats. Incident Investigation:  Lead internal investigations into security breaches, theft, or misconduct, and oversee intelligence reporting. Operational Control:  Oversee security patrols, access points, and security service providers in designated areas. Compliance Audits:  Conduct regular, documented security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with safety and security standards. Strategic Planning:  Develop and implement security procedures, tactical plans, and emergency response protocols. Stakeholder Liaison:  Work with law enforcement, and internal departments (e.g., mining, HR) to address security threats and manage employee relations in high-risk areas. Reporting:  Compile high-quality, accurate investigation reports for senior management and relevant regulatory bodies.
