Job Summary: The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing customer relationships for the company’s insurance products. The role involves identifying customer needs, explaining insurance products and benefits, and providing exceptional customer service to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Marketing: Identify potential customers and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals. Present, promote, and sell insurance products to meet customer needs. Explain policy features, coverage, premiums, and terms to clients clearly and effectively. Assist clients in choosing suitable insurance coverage by analysing their requirements and financial capabilities. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service. Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to renew policies, address queries, and resolve issues. Act as a liaison between clients and the company to ensure seamless communication. Key performance indicators: Meet or exceed individual sales targets. Participate in sales campaigns, promotional activities, and events to drive business growth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Goal-oriented mindset with a strong drive for success. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and report for senior sales Managers. Provide feedback and suggestions to the management team for product and service improvement. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions. Accomplish other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor or manager Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance industry. Certification in insurance is a plus.
