YMCA Ethiopia works in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders in Addis Ababa and five (5) regions of the country (Amhara, Oromia, SNNPR, Tigray, and Sidama) and ten (10) branch offices. YMCA Ethiopia is seeking a qualified Branch Manager for its Mekelle branch office. The required qualifications and experience are as follows: Duty station: Mekelle Employment type: Full-time Salary: Based on organizational scale Report to: Executive Director & Program Director Duties and Responsibilities Provide strong leadership in managing both personnel and project operations at the branch level. Coordinate all administrative and program activities to ensure efficient and effective branch functioning. Apply a thorough understanding of youth development approaches to coach, mentor, and lead staff, volunteers and youth members by example. Demonstrate creativity and innovation by adapting and adopting new initiatives that drive positive change and impact for youth and branch operations. Ensure full compliance with YMCA’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values. Guarantee that all actions and decisions adhere to donor, government, and other stakeholder policies and regulations, ensuring no conflict with YMCA's core values. Liaise with and seek support from the National Office for the day-to-day management of branch-specific operations, including Human Resources, Programs, Administration, and Finance. Network and collaborate with partner organizations undertaking similar activities. Proactively map potential funding and implementing partners, identify areas for partnership, and establish and manage these relationships at the branch level. Prepare and submit periodic financial and program reports to the National Office, as well as to relevant government bodies and donors as required. Develop and submit the branch office's annual plan and human resources requirements for approval, and ensure their proper implementation upon authorization. Assume full responsibility for Financial Management at the branch level, ensuring that all internal control mechanisms are strictly adhered to. Oversee the development of and ensure adherence to Annual Plan and Budgets, aligning them with the organization's existing Strategic Plan. Coordinate the capacity building and orientation of staff and volunteers in liaison with the National Office, and perform any other related activities as required.
