Junior Accountant

Patchee Food Manufacturing PLC is a confectionery manufacturing company that mainly produces a variety of chocolates. The Accountant we are looking for plays a vital role in managing financial records and supporting the financial operations of the company. This full-time, Junior level  position is designed for candidates with 1-2 year experience that are eager to develop their skills in the accounting and finance sector. The role requires working in an office environment in Addis Ababa, on Ring road around Saris Abo. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets and income statements. Assist in the preparation and review of full IFRS financial statements. Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and budget planning. Utilize Peachtree software to manage accounting tasks efficiently. Create financial forecasts and reports to aid in strategic planning. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Maintain organized data and record-keeping systems. Collaborate with team members to complete financial projects and initiatives. Prepare documentation for audits and assist in the audit process. Support the finance team with various administrative tasks as required.
