Job Purpose The Project coordinator has a responsibility responsible for tracking progress, and ensuring smooth communication among team members and stakeholders. They act as the operational backbone of the project team, helping turn plans into action. Job Summary Position Title: Project Coordinator Reports To: Project Coordination Team Leader Duty Station: Addis Ababa Head Office Salary & Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with qualifications and experience Duties and Responsibilities Shall go through the project scope of work such as drawings, specification, contract, project schedule, manpower requirement and equipment requirement. Evaluate all material requested from project in respect to the project scope of work. Prepare store requisition for all material request evaluated and approved. Submit and follow up all material that need approval by the consultant. Follow up the approved material has been purchased and delivered to the project in coordination with procurement officer. Follow up with the project the payment certificate has been issued and payment has been collected. Evaluate all sub-contractor and supplier selection in coordination with procurement officer, project follow up section head and Building Construction Manager. Assist in the preparation of agreement. Prepare weekly and monthly report to project follow up section head. Follow up with work orders and variation works. Follow up with design engineer regarding all RFI issued and responded. Follow up and assist on project handover process. Prepare method statements. Perform related duties as assigned by the Coordination team leader.
