Timret Lehiwot Ethiopia (TLHE) Internal / External Vacancy Announcement Position Title: One Outreach Worker Duty Station: Hawassa,  Number of Position: 1 (One) Employment Type: One Year contract with possibility of extension Basic Salary: ETB 14,000 (Fourteen Thousand Birr) Additional Benefits: ETB 300 (Transport) + ETB 200 (Communication Allowance) About Timret Lehiwot Ethiopia (TLHE) Timret Lehiwot Ethiopia is a registered Ethiopian Resident Charity established in July 2004. The organization is committed to preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS and mitigating its socio-economic impact among Female Sex Workers (FSWs) and other most-at-risk populations (MARPs). Through peer education, Education for Health and Well-being, cascading sessions, referral networking, capacity building, conflict resolution, and life skills training, TLHE empowers vulnerable women and girls to protect their health and improve their livelihoods. TSINAT, a flagship program of TLHE, promotes Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV prevention services targeting Female sex workers, their clients, and other MARPs. As we strengthen and expand our regional program interventions, we are seeking a qualified, motivated, and passionate professional to join our dynamic team. Position Summary The Regional Drop-In Center (DIC) Coordinator will provide overall leadership and coordination of DIC activities in Hawassa. The position requires strong organizational, partnership-building, and program management skills to ensure effective service delivery, quality implementation, and strong stakeholder collaboration. The Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and M&E Officer.   Key Duties and Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage all Drop-In Center (DIC) activities to ensure timely and high-quality implementation. Supervise and support DIC staff to enhance performance and accountability. Represent TLHE in regional meetings, coordination forums, and stakeholder platforms. Promote behavioral change interventions among FSWs, including: Proper condom use and disposal Condom negotiation skills STI/HIV awareness Communication skills with sexual partners Reduction of drug and alcohol abuse Establish and maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-functioning Drop-In Center providing daily training and edutainment activities. In collaboration with outreach worker: Identify, select, and train FSWs and provide refresher training for peer educators Ensure continuous supervision and capacity building of peer educators Organize stakeholder meetings and facilitate g of MOUs with health, legal, social, and vocational training service providers. Strengthen referral systems and networking using standardized referral slips for FSWs. Ensure proper use of data collection tools and reporting formats; maintain accurate documentation and registry systems. Document and share best practices, lessons learned, and success stories. Prepare and submit timely monthly and quarterly reports. Facilitate financial processes, including timely settlements of advances and payments.
