Chief Security/ Security head

The Chief Security role at Teklehaimanot General Hospital is a full-time position that oversees security operations within the hospital environment. This mid-level role, requiring 3-5 years of experience, is focused on ensuring the safety and security of staff, patients, and hospital property. The Chief Security will develop and implement security protocols, manage compliance with safety regulations, and coordinate security personnel. This office-based position plays a crucial role in maintaining a secure healthcare facility in Addis Ababa. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities. Manage and supervise security personnel, providing training and performance evaluations. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed. Monitor security systems and respond to alarms and incidents in a timely manner. Investigate security breaches and incidents, documenting findings and actions taken. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Prepare and present security reports to hospital management. Manage access control systems and visitor management protocols. Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
