JOB Summary: The Milling Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining milling machines to produce precision metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications. The role focuses on accuracy, quality, and efficiency in machining operations while adhering to safety standards. The position requires technical proficiency in CNC or manual milling, machine setup, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform precision measurements Key responsibilities: ·  Operate and set up manual and CNC milling machines to manufacture metal parts. ·  Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications accurately. · Perform quality checks and measurements on finished components using precision tools. · Ensure proper machine setup and calibration to meet production and quality standards. · Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of milling machines. · Follow safety procedures and operational protocols consistently. · Record machine operations, production output, and maintenance activities. · Identify and report any defects or deviations to supervisors or quality control teams. ·  Assist in training new or junior operators as needed.
