JOB SUMMARY The Handyman/General worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the factory or company premises/surrounding, performing basic maintenance tasks in plumbing works, carpentry works and sanitation by monitoring all water lines including drainage or wastewater systems. He/she supports facility inspection and ensures safe clean and well-Maintained working environment. Additionally, he/she is responsible to be required to design and inspect plumbing systems, perform diagnostics, and ensure they comply with regulatory compliance & perform maintenance of office furniture, door, window and other infrastructure, including 5S painting. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Maintain the cleanliness of the factory compound and surrounding areas. Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance work; Assemble valves, fittings, tubes and water system appliances Monitor and report water leakages or drainage problems Monitor different drainage and wastewater systems Assist in facility inspection and monitoring activities. Support supervision and control activities when required. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. Sanitary work and painting Troubleshooting and resolving problems, Preparing cost estimates Masanorry competency: Setting up forms, patterns and foundations including interpreting blueprints to determine the dimensions of structures and the types of materials required Carpentry: Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation or other fixtures as required. Plumbing: Inspect & carry out regular maintenance of plumbing systems whether new or previously installed plumbing systems & perform any necessary repairs as required. Confer with coworkers to coordinate maintenance or cleaning activities Environmental Management System (EMS) & Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Maintain environmental cleanliness within the workplace. Ensure proper management and disposal of waste and wastewater. Prevent water or chemical leakages and environmental contamination. Follow workplace health and safety procedures and guidelines. Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) properly. Report accidents, unsafe conditions, or unusual situations to the supervisor. Participate in safety training and risk awareness activities
