Our company is would like to hire a Sales Officer to work in our “Tech” business wing Job Summery  The Senior Customs Assessor is responsible for the end-to-end assessment of shipping documentation to ensure full compliance with customs regulations. This role involves analyzing documents, asg accurate HS codes, and calculating applicable duties and taxes. The Senior Assessor serves as the key liaison between the client and customs authorities, managing permit requirements, addressing inquiries, and securing client approvals to facilitate smooth cargo clearance. Duties and Responsibilities Analyze documents for accuracy and customs compliance, liaising with clients on any discrepancies Verify completeness and correctness of all shipping documents to prepare them for assessment Classify items using appropriate Harmonized System (HS) codes to determine tariff rates Ensure all required pre-shipment permits are obtained prior to processing Advise clients on post-import permit requirements Calculate total taxes and duties, inform clients of the exact amount, and secure payment approval Assess documentation upon receiving client confirmation Complete VDD (Value for Duty) information accurately and on time, addressing any customs inquiries Provide support across all areas of the logistics department Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager
